Daylight — Follow the Money — maps campaign-finance contributions — who funds whom — for U.S. federal races (Northeast) and state-level money in 8 states: Maine, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Louisiana, Connecticut, Texas, and Iowa.

SOURCES

• Federal: Federal Election Commission bulk data, 2024 + 2026 cycles — committee→candidate (pas2) and itemized individual contributions (generally > $200).
• State: each state's official disclosure agency — e.g. Maine Ethics Commission, PA / MA / MN / LA / CT / TX disclosure portals, and the Iowa Ethics & Campaign Disclosure Board (via the Iowa Data Hub).
• Bios: Wikipedia · committee descriptions from the FEC committee master.

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED

• Unitemized small-dollar money isn't published in FEC bulk data, so totals are itemized receipts (individual gifts generally > $200, plus all PAC money).
• Individual donations are loaded for Northeast candidates; elsewhere, totals are PAC-only.
• Money is shown across both cycles combined per candidate, not split by election.
